The Blues are perceived to arrange a £7.2m offer for the 21-year-old center-back, who rejoined Malmo after just making one appearance during a three-year spell at Nottingham Forest.
Nonetheless, Ahmedhodzic senior has asserted that his agent Markus Rosenberg is impeding a change to Stamford Bridge in spite of talks with Chelsea move boss Marina Granovskaia.
“[Rosenberg] isn’t managing his responsibility. He has told Marina at Chelsea that Anel isn’t going there,” Mirsad Ahmedhodzic told Sportbladet.
“[Anel] needs to travel to another country after the season wraps up.”
Ahmedhodzic’s form since rejoining Malmo saw him earn a debut for Sweden prior to this year, in spite of the fact that he has since switched citizenship and shown up for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
