Chelsea are supposed to be set up to offer a fee of €100m (£90.7m) trying to sign the Slovenia international in front of the 2020-21 campaign.
Simeone has said that it is “coherent and normal” that each club in world football would need the 27-year-old, yet the Atletico lead coach is cheerful that the stopper will stay at the Wanda Metropolitano.
“It doesn’t amaze me, consistently our most significant players are needed by the best on the planet,” Simeone told reporters. “It is entirely expected to consistently search generally advantageous – and we have many. Some have left and others have remained.
“I am not amazed that Chelsea respect Jan Oblak, he is an unequivocal player for us. Be that as it may, he is the captain and our participation consistently in the Champions League encourages us keep our best players so I trust he will proceed with us.”

Oblak, who has an agreement with his capital club until the late spring of 2023, has again been in great structure this season, keeping 21 clean sheets in 46 appearances in all rivalries.
