Ozil supposes Arsenal decision was for commercial reasons

Previous Germany international has apparently played his last game for the Gunners, having been precluded from the team’s 25-man Premier League squad, while he is additionally not qualified to play in the Europa League.

Ozil said that he was “profoundly disillusioned” to be kept separate from the selection yet Arteta demanded that he had been “truly reasonable” with the attacker and said that the call was “a football decision”.

Notwithstanding, as per the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old accepts that Arsenal’s commercial interests in China assumed the main role in the club’s decision.

Last December, Ozil took to Instagram to censure China’s supposed abuse of Uighur Muslims in the north-western area of Xinjiang, which is said to have had ‘damaging commercial consequences’ for the Gunners.

The 31-year-old, who has not shown up for his present club since March, will be out of the agreement the following summer and is accepted to pull in enthusiasm from MLS outfit DC United.

Ozil wrote a £350,000-a-week deal at the Emirates Stadium in February 2018.
